Durable Medical Equipment Loans

Why buy a walker, wheelchair, or other equipment when you don’t have to. NOCCOA has equipment to loan. You may borrow the equipment for as long as you need it. It can be used for a weekend guest or for years. Many people borrow equipment after surgery, when the need is temporary.

Equipment is loaned with a deposit. People residing in areas that support NOCCOA with a millage pay a refundable $5. Residents of non-millage funded areas pay a deposit of $20 and $10 is refunded when the item(s) are returned.

Millage funded areas include: Chester Township, Coopersville, Ferrysburg, Grand Haven City, Grand Haven Township, Polkton Township, Spring Lake Township, Spring Lake Village, and Wright Township. Non-millage funded areas include: Allendale Township, Crockery Township, Robinson Township, and Tallmadge Township.

NOCCOA also accepts donations of equipment that people no longer need. It is through donations of equipment that we can keep this program going.

Call to reserve your needed item. Since many items are loaned out quickly, there is no guarantee that NOCCOA will have what you need in stock at any given time. We try our best and will keep a waiting list. NOCCOA cannot store hospital beds or lift chairs but will keep the names of people needing one and of those wishing to donate one, and will pass on those names accordingly.
